Abstract

Abstract : -
The study aims to realize the role of NGOs in the social structure in Halfa city, Sudan, and to identify the associations’ activities that implement through the social structure system represented by the kinship system in marriage and family, the economic system in fishing, agriculture, grazing, trade and industry, and the social control system in customary, official laws, the ritual system of religious and magical beliefs within Halfa city, Sudan.
The study relied on functional structured theory and the role theory for their suitability to the nature of the current study, and also relied on the anthropological method and the descriptive analytical method , One of the most important methods used in the field work was direct observation, interviews were conducted with a number of newsmen, and the most notably NGOs have an effective role in building the capabilities and skills of community members and meeting their needs , which confirms their effective role in the various forms of social structure in Halfa city, Sudan .
