Abstract

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the world witnessed a great development in contemporary arts and contemporary photography, especially with the beginning of impressionism, when the artist began to go directly to reality to create the content of his works. This was a historical shift in the concept of photographic artwork and the way of seeing it, and then the discovery of photographic machines and... Then we use it as an alternative reference to reality or sometimes a complement to it. In which the artist relied on modern technological elements, Which led to the existence of a visual vision and a new visual concept of image and work. Consequently, the philosophical vision and content of the work changed to a contemporary vision that keeps pace with the requirements of this era. And dealing with human senses and perceptions in a more profound way. Contemporary photography art, in some of its forms, has tended to integrate science and technology with art, and to use computers and programming as a new artistic medium. Among these technologies, the researcher will discuss virtual reality technology and metaverse environments and how to benefit from them as a visual reference and a tool for contemporary photography through the computer. Art has become dependent on innovation, experimentation, and modern technology that presents a new concept through tools that can be experimented with. In order for this to be clear, the researcher will present in the following lines an overview of virtual reality and its development.
