Abstract

ABSTRACT :
The research primarily addresses some forms of traditional industries in the village of West Soheil in Nubia, which are worked on by some of the village's residents. This study is considered an anthropological study that focuses on the cultural heritage through its interest in various traditional industries. The study also aims to identify the types and forms of traditional industries and crafts, as well as the diversity of raw materials used in these industries.
This study relied on the anthropological approach and its tools (observation, interview, fieldwork guide) as well as the historical and descriptive methods. The field study was applied to a sample of individuals from the study community who work in traditional industries in the village of West Sohail in Nubia.
The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which are the scarcity of workshops for traditional industries and the lack of labor lack of labor.
