Virtual reality and metaverse world as simulation tools and their role in contemporary painting art

Abstract

With the beginning of the 21st century, the world witnessed a great development in contemporary arts and contemporary art of painting, beginning with Impressionism when the artist began to go directly to reality to work on the content of his works. Then use it as an alternative reference to reality or sometimes complement it. In which the artist relied on the elements of modern technology, which led to the existence of a visual vision and a new visual concept of the image and work. Consequently, the philosophical vision and content of the work differed into a contemporary vision that keeps pace with the requirements of this era. And dealing with human senses and perceptions in a more profound way. Contemporary art of painting directed, in some of its forms, to the integration of science and technology with art, and the use of computers and programming as a new artistic medium. Art has become dependent on innovation and experimentation, and modern technology that presents a new concept through experimental tools. For this to be clear, the researcher will present in the coming lines an overview of virtual reality and its development.
